"We wanted to ensure we would have a great meal and so came here and it didn’t disappoint. We had the red prawns and black squid ink paella. And the French toast. Everything was great. The prawns were amazing albeit expensive - but they are expensive everywhere in Spain! The paella was beautifully cooked and very delicious. I’m not a huge fan of paella - I find it quite one dimensional but if you know what you’re ordering then that’s fine. It was great! The French toast was also beautiful. My partner found it a bit soggy but I think it gave it a comforting texture."

"We had a pretty good lunch at Oryza in Torrevieja, helped enormously by its perfect coastal location with uninterrupted sea views. It was quiet during our early lunch visit, but you can instantly see how stunning this place must be at sunset. The staff were generally good, friendly and efficient enough, though not fully committed — just missing that extra touch of attentiveness that makes service memorable. The real disappointment was the white shrimp priced at €140/kg: some pieces were clearly past their prime, a bit old and mushy. At that premium price point, customers deserve absolute freshness. Not a nice try, guys — be honest with your guests and serve only the best. Overall, we still enjoyed the experience and the location is fantastic, but that shrimp issue left a small sour note. The restaurant has great potential — they just need to get it together and tighten up quality control."

"We’ve been a few times now, prices have all gone up since September. The Tuna Thai salad was way too salty, and there was nothing Thai about it, it was just avocado, mango and rocket. The mussels sauce was also pretty poor. Steak and deserts were still very nice!"

"Absolutely delicious and high class servings of traditional selections, with puristic but excellent taste. We enjoyed starters, mains, postres, combined with local wine and sparkling wine selections. The team assisted with recommendations and wine pairing. We found this place in the amex restaurant list, while they first did not think they accept it anyhow, it wont be the last time we‘ll visit this wonderful place."
